New doctor at the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Clinic – Joanna Parkitna

Dear Patients, We are pleased to announce that Dr. Joanna Parkitna has joined the team of the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Clinic.Dr. Parkitna is a specialist in general surgery. Her main areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is also the subject of her ongoing doctoral research. She is an expert in the treatment of gastrointestinal conditions such as GERD and gallbladder diseases (including gallstones and polyps).She also specializes in surgical procedures for hiatal hernia (fundoplication), as well as inguinal, abdominal, and umbilical hernias. In addition, she treats thyroid disorders (including multinodular goiter and hyperthyroidism).

At the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Clinic, Dr. Parkitna provides surgical consultations and qualifies patients for diagnostic procedures such as impedance testing, esophageal manometry, and pH monitoring.
